Welcome from the Religion Department

Welcome to St. Rosalie School where we believe in educating the whole child: academically, socially, physically, and spiritually.

As Catholics, we know that a child's relationship with God is fundamental to their success in life. Each school year we choose a religious theme which helps us to continuously foster our Catholic environment:

*Students in grades 1 through 8 attend mass on a weekly basis on a rotational schedule. Parent, family members, and parishioners are welcome to attend.

*Students in grades 2 through 8 are given the opportunity to go to Confession throughout the school year.

* Our 2nd grade students are prepared and receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. This is an exciting time for the students to celebrate the gift of God's love and mercy.

* The sacrament of Confirmation is offered through the church parish (call the parish for more details).

*Students attend Adoration and Benediction on the first Friday of every month.

*Students and friends of St. Rosalie School are invited to attend recitation of the Rosary on Friday afternoons beginning at 2:15 P.M. on the elementary campus.

As each school year progresses, we have various special religious celebrations and activities for the children. If you have any questions about our religious program, please call the school office at 341-4342 and the religion coordinator will be happy to assist you.
