St. Rosalie School prides itself on the mission to know, to love and to serve God by providing an academic environment, in which students are challenged, enriched and motivated to reach their potential.  We, at St. Rosalie School, recognize and apply the three – fold purpose of Christian education; teach doctrine, foster community, and serve others.

We nurture a child centered education helping each student to realize his or her potential intellectually, spiritually, socially and physically.

Dear Parents,

The second half of our school year is quickly passing us by. It is a very busy time at St. Rosalie School. Both campuses are full of activity. The registration process has just been completed and the numbers for next year are encouraging. This shows that people still have faith in our school which offers a quality, Catholic education that is still very much a part of our values. I would like to personally thank you for your continued support and entrusting the care of your children to the St. Rosalie Faculty. We are pleased to have your children each and every day.

Dear Parents,

It is hard to imagine that Thanksgiving is already here.  It seems like yesterday we were beginning the school year.  As the Thanksgiving season comes upon us, let us to take this time to be thankful for everything we have in our lives.  Our St. Rosalie family has recently lost two people, Tyler Rupp and Michael Poussard, who were dear to our hearts.  As we remember them, let us remember and be thankful for everyone and everything we have our lives.

Dear Parents,
This year is a very special year, as we will be celebrating the school's 50th anniversary.  St. Rosalie School opened in 1958 with only kindergarten through 4th grades. As you are aware, we have grown tremendously in the last fifty years, incorporating three year-olds through eighth graders, and have become the largest Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Over the past fifty years St. Rosalie has played a pivotal role in educating thousands of students. The history of the school is built upon a solid Catholic foundation embracing the Salesian and Dominican traditions. St. Rosalie School has become a school of excellence, earning many honors and recognitions. Past and present families, students, faculty, and staff have made St. Rosalie School what it is today. Working together as a school community, we maintain the St. Rosalie way of life -- to know, to love, and to serve God.
