Pre-K through fifth grade students recently toured the "Body Walk", an exciting educational exhibit. Sponsored by the LSU Agricultural Center. Students learned about the importance of making healthy food choices and being physically active.
Thanks to Mrs. Elena for all of her hard work putting this together. Also many thanks to our parents who helped to made this project a big success.
8th Grade Participates in R.O.P.E.S. November 29, 2012
The Louisiana National Guard in Slidell offers a course to help students develop strength and confidence using a variety of group related tasks. The obstacle course is located at Camp Villere. The students participates in many obstacle course related activities. They learn to work together as a team, use thinking skills, and build trust within their groups. It is challenging but also a great learning experience. The 8th grade students truly always look forward to this event.
"Red Ribbon Week" November 29, 2012
National Red Ribbon Week was meant to make students aware of the harmful effects of drugs, as well as how to resist them. The students were encouraged to participate in the activities that were planned for the week. They wore pajamas to "Follow their dreams", hats for "Hats off to being drug free"and much more. The students participated in coloring, poetry, and essay contest. The door decorating contest was a great success. Presentations and fieldtrips were planned as part of our drug awareness week.
St. Rosalie Book Fair November 13, 2012
St. Rosalie held their second annual book fair at Barnes and Nobles. Many of the students came out dressed in their costumes. They purchased book to help raise money for our school libraries.Thanks to Ms. Kris and Ms. Patti for all their hard work to make this event such a success.

Student Council Throws a Swim Party September 10, 2012
On Friday, September 21st the student council is throwing a "Welcome Back" party for the the eighth graders.There will be swimming, water slides, and barbecue.
